Defend your anime hot take
The best part of a convention debate is hearing the reason behind a pick you’d never make.
A good anime debate starts when somebody puts a show way higher or lower than you would. Ask them which scene earned that spot. Maybe it’s a fight you forgot about, a character you gave up on too early, or an ending that landed for them for a completely different reason.
That’s what makes a convention floor a fun place to hear people’s picks. Everyone brings a different watchlist and a different idea of what makes a show stick. You might leave with the same ranking and a better reason to give one of their favorites a shot.
