The best Digimon teams have a favorite

A monster-taming RPG gets more interesting when you give a favorite a spot before you check the stats.

Digimon Story Time Stranger gives you a reason to think about who fits your team. Raising Digimon and bringing them into turn-based battles makes the roster part of how you play. You can build around what covers the most ground, or you can start with the one you’d keep even if it made the next fight harder.

That second approach is where the fun decisions live. If your favorite has a weakness, you get to figure out how the rest of the team can cover it. Now the lineup has a little more personality, and every new recruit has to earn a spot.
